K.C. Bokadia is an Indian filmmaker. He has produced successful films such as Pyar Jhukta Nahin, Teri Meherbaniyan, Naseeb Apna Apna, Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam and Main Tera Dushman. He has directed successful films like Phool Bane Angaaray, Police Aur Mujrim, Insaaniyat Ke Devta, Aaj Ka Arjun, Kudrat Ka Kanoon.

The Deccan Chronicle called him 'the fastest producer to make 50 films'.^[1] He made unconventional films such as 'Teri Meherbaniya' in which the main protagonist was a dog. He has also made films based on animals like Teri Meherbaniyan, Main Tera Dushman, Kundan.

He made his debut as producer with Rivaaj in 1972. He directed Aaj Ka Arjun (1990) starring Amitabh Bachchan which was a runaway hit, It was his debut as a director ! Amitabh Bachchan was the first Indian actor then to charge 1 crore for this film !The song of the film - 'Gori hai kalyian' was nonstop on the top of binaca sangeetmala for 22 weeks !

He dominated as a producer in the late 80s and early 90s releasing three films in a year continuously, which were mostly remakes of Tamil or Telugu films. He was dubbed as film factory .he was the fastest to reach 50 films in a non corporate era !

After the sudden demise of K Asif, he helped in completing and releasing K Asif's last film Love and God.

He has worked with Rajnikanth, Jackie Shroff, & Aditya Pancholi as well as other actors including Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Saif Ali KhanRaaj Kumar, Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Shahrukh Khan, Vinod Khanna, Ajay Devgan, Dharmendra, Akshay Kumar & Mithun Chakraborty.

Satyendra Kappu (1931 – 27 October 2007), also credited as Satyen Kappu , was an Indiancharacter actor in Bollywood films. He has acted in 390 films. His most remembered role is Ramlal in the movie Sholay (1975) and as Amitabh Bachchan's father in Yash Chopra's Deewaar. His other notable films are Kati Patang, Anuraag, Amar Prem, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Khote Sikkay, Don, Chhoti Bahu, Benaam, Zanjeer, Avishkaar, Majboor, Namak Halaal, Kaala Patthar, Angaaray, Mr. Natwarlal, Red Rose, Naya Kadam and Aaj Ka M.L.A. Ram Avtar.^[1]

Career[edit]

Satyen Kappu started his career as a stage actor in 1952 with the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) in Bombay (present-day Mumbai).^[2] His career spanned from the early 1960s to the early 2000s with over 390 films to his credit. He mostly played supporting roles of a father, relative, uncle, police officer, doctor and villainous roles. His work in many films with Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan, Jeetendra, Mithun Chakraborty in the lead were noteworthy.

He was a resident of Sunder Nagar, Mumbai. He died on 27 October 2007 in Mumbai following a cardiac arrest. He was 76 and is survived by his wife and four daughters.^[3]
